Review the 2024 benefit actions you must take within 31 days of your hire date.

To enroll, log in to Workday, click My Benefits & Retirement application. Click Make your Annual Enrollment Elections.

Review your confirmation statement to verify that your 2024 benefit elections are accurate.

Below is an overivew of the actions you can take.

Benefit Actions
Medical

Action required. You must enroll in the Consumer Choice Plan within 31 days of your hire date. If you miss the deadline, you won’t have medical coverage for 2024.

Note: If you enroll dependents in medical coverage, you will receive information from Dependent Verification Services. You must verify your dependents before the deadline.

Health Savings Account Action required. Confirm you are eligible for an HSA in 2024 and authorize BMO to open an HSA on your behalf at Smart-Choice Accounts, the HSA administrator, to receive BMO’s Core Contribution and enhanced Core Contribution (if applicable).
Dental and Vision

Enroll yourself and dependents.

Note: If you enroll dependents in dental coverage, you will receive information from Dependent Verification Services. You must verify your dependents before the deadline, or they will be canceled from your coverage after 60 days.

Flexible Spending Accounts
(Health Care, Limited Purpose, Dependent Care)
Action required. You must enroll in the FSAs to participate. If you miss the deadline, you won’t have a Health Care, Limited Purpose, and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account in 2024.
Voluntary Benefits
(Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance; Group Legal Insurance)

Enroll yourself and dependents, and drop, or change coverage.

Supplemental Long-Term Disability

Enroll yourself and dependents.

Supplemental Life Insurance

Enroll yourself and dependents.
